Throttle Body: Tacoma

  1. Check that throttle linkage moves freely at throttle body. To check vacuum supply at throttle body, start engine and allow engine to idle. Note vacuum port location on throttle body. See Fig 1.
  2. Check that vacuum and no vacuum exist at specified vacuum ports on throttle body with engine idling and with engine at more than idle. See THROTTLE BODY VACUUM SUPPLY  table. Repair or replace components if vacuum supply is not as designated.
