On-Vehicle Repair

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 AND NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVERS 
  2. REMOVE LH FRONT FLOOR CENTER COVER 
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR FLOOR BOARD 
  4. DISCONNECT VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR 
  5. REMOVE VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR 
    1. Remove the bolt and vehicle speed sensor.
    2. Remove the O-ring from the vehicle speed sensor.
  6. INSTALL VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR 
    1. Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it to the vehicle speed sensor.
    2. Install the vehicle speed sensor to the extension housing and torque the bolt.

      Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf) 

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR FLOOR BOARD 
  8. INSTALL LH FRONT FLOOR CENTER COVER 
  9. INSTALL NO. 1 AND NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVERS
