Retrieve DTCs. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If any DTCs other than P1129 are stored, perform appropriate repair procedure on that DTC first. If only DTC P1129 is displayed, replace ECM and clear DTCs. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Recheck for DTCs. If DTC P1129 resets, replace throttle body and retest.
