Inspection Procedure

  1. Check the door key lock and unlock switch using DTC check  . See MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM - DIAGNOSTICS .
    1. OK  : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES .
    2. NG  , go to  2.
  2. Check the door key lock and unlock switch  . See INSPECT DRIVER DOOR KEY LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH .
    1. NG  : Replace the door lock motor.
    2. OK  , go to step  3.
  3. Check wire harness and connector between door key lock and unlock switch and driver door ECU. 
    1. NG  : Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
    2. OK  : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
