Circuit Description

ECT sensor is a thermistor sensor which monitors water temperature. DTC is set when ECM detects an open or short in ECT sensor circuit. Possible causes are:
- ECT sensor circuit is open or shorted.
- Defective ECT sensor.
- Defective ECM.
