Inspection Procedure

Check courtesy switch . See STEP 3 - INSPECT PASSENGER'S DOOR KEY LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH under INSPECTION .
1. NG: Replace the courtesy switch.
2. OK: Go to next step.
Check that there is a grounding malfunction caused by looseness of the tighten screw.
1. NG: Install screw.
2. OK: Go to next step.
Check wire harness and connector between courtesy switch and body ECU . See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE .
1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
2. OK: Go to next step.
Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table . See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
