Inspection Procedure

NOTE: On the system structure point of view, this DTC cannot be displayed by the combination meter. In case of checking DTC, please use hand-held tester.

Check the communication circuit inside ECM.
PREPARATION: Disconnect the connector "E11" of ECM.

CHECK: the DTC.

OK: Code B1266 or B1267 is not output

1. OK: Replace the ECM.
2. NG: Go to 2.
Check the communication circuit inside gateway ECU.
PREPARATION
1. Connect the connector "E11" of ECM.
2. Disconnect the connector "G1" of gateway ECU.

CHECK: the DTC.

OK: Code B1266 or B1267 is not output.
1. OK: Replace the gateway ECU.
2. NG: Go to 3.
Check the communication circuit inside A/C amplifier.
PREPARATION
1. Connect the connector of "G1" of gateway ECU.
2. Disconnect the connector "A7" of A/C amplifier.
Check the DTC.

OK: Code B1266 or B1267 is not output

1. OK: Replace the A/C amplifier.
2. NG: Go to 4 .
Check the communication circuit inside combination meter ECU.
PREPARATION
1. Connect the connector "A7" of A/C amplifier.
2. Disconnect the connector "C11" of combination meter ECU.
Check the DTC.

OK: Code B1266 or B1267 is not output
1. OK: Replace the combination meter ECU.
2. NG: Go to 5.
Check for short circuit between combination meter ECU and body ECU.
PREPARATION: Disconnect the connector "B8" of body ECU.

CHECK: the DTC.

OK: Code B1266 or B1267 is not output
1. OK: Repair or replace the wire harness between combination meter ECU and body ECU.
2. NG: Go to 6.
Check for short circuit between body ECU and ECM.
PREPARATION: Connect the connector "B8" of body ECU.

Disconnect the connector "E11" of ECM.

CHECK: the DTC.

OK: Code B1266 or B1267 is not output
1. OK: Repair or replace the wire harness between body ECU and ECM.
2. NG: Go to 7.
Check for short circuit between ECM and gateway ECU.
PREPARATION:

Connect the connector "B8" of body ECU.

Disconnect the connector "G1" of gateway ECU.

CHECK: the DTC.

OK: Code B1266 or B1267 is not output.
1. OK: Repair or replace the wire harness between ECM and gateway ECU.
2. NG: Go 8.
Check for short circuit between gateway ECU and A/C amplifier.
PREPARATION
1. Connect the connector "E11" of ECM.
2. Disconnect the connector "A7" of A/C amplifier.

CHECK: the DTC.

OK: Code B1266 or B1267 is not output
1. OK: Repair or replace the wire harness between ECM and A/C amplifier.
2. NG: Go to 9.
Check for short circuit between A/C amplifier and combination meter ECU.
PREPARATION
1. Connect the connector "A7" of A/C amplifier.
2. Disconnect the connector "C11" of combination meter ECU.

CHECK: the DTC.

OK: Code B1266 or B1267 is not output
1. OK: Repair or replace the wire harness between A/C amplifier and combination meter ECU.
2. NG: Replace the body ECU.
