Inspection Procedure

Check operation of door courtesy light.
CHECK: that door courtesy light comes on when door opened, and goes off when door is closed.

OK: Must be operated normally.
1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES .
2. NG: Go to 2.
Check courtesy light . See STEP 2 - INSPECT INTERIOR LIGHT CONTINUITY .
1. NG: Replace the courtesy light.
2. OK : Go to 3.
Check courtesy switch . See STEP 3 - INSPECT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH CONTINUITY .
1. NG: Replace the courtesy switch.
2. OK : Go to 4.
Check wire harness and connector between courtesy light and driver door ECU, courtesy switch and driver door ECU.
1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
2. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES .
