  1. After replacing the part, install the combination meter to the vehicle.
  2. Move the vehicle to a flat area that has a surface with an angle of inclination no greater than +/- 0.5°.
  3. With the ignition switch in the OFF position, press the trip switch.
  4. While pressing the trip switch, turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  5. Within 5 seconds after the ignition switch is turned ON, release the trip switch and press the trip switch 3 times. On the third press, hold the switch for 5 seconds. An 800 Hz buzzer will sound for 1 second.
  6. After the buzzer stops, release the trip switch.
  7. After the buzzer stops, press the trip switch one more time and hold it for 5 seconds. Again, an 800 Hz buzzer will sound for 1 second.
  8. The horizontal setting is now complete.

    HINT:

If, in step  g, a buzzer higher than that of step  e (for example, 1.9 kHz) sounds continually, turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and perform the procedures from step  c again.
