Inspection Procedure

- CHECK THE MAP DISC
- Check that the map disc is not deformed or cracked.
Standard: No deformations or cracks appear on the map disc.
- NG: REPLACE THE MAP DISC
- OK: Go to next step.
- Check that the map disc is not deformed or cracked.
- CHECK THE MAP DISPLAY
- Check if a touch scroll can be performed on the map display.
Standard: Touch scroll can be performed.
- NG: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (see PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- OK: Go to next step.
- Check if a touch scroll can be performed on the map display.
- NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS CHECK)
- Enter the "Navigation Check" mode (Vehicle Sensors) (see NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS) ).
- While driving, compare the "SPD" indicator to the reading on the speedometer. Check if these readings are almost the same.
Standard: The readings are almost the same.
- NG: GO TO "SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT" IN THE FLOW CHART (SEE SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT )
- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (see PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
