How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

The hand-held tester can be used at step  5 and  8.

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
    1. Go to next step. 
  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS (SEE  CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK   ) 
    1. Go to next step. 
  3. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LAMP CONDITION 
    1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    2. Record the condition of the tire pressure warning lamp on the combination meter assy.
    3. Refer to the "TIRE PRESSURE WARNING DISPLAY FUNCTION" section of the DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM for checking the condition of the tire pressure warning lamp (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM  ).
    1. Go to next step. 
  4. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (SEE  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 
    1. Go to next step. 
  5. CIRCUIT INSPECTION (SEE  STOP LAMP SWITCH CIRCUIT   to  AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT  ) 
    1. Go to next step. 
  6. IDENTIFICATION OF PROBLEM 
    1. Go to next step. 
  7. REPAIR 
    1. Go to next step. 
  8. CONFIRMATION TEST 
    1. END
