Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK IMAGE QUALITY SETTING 
    1. Enter the display adjustment screen by pressing the "DISPLAY" switch.
    2. Turn the light control switch to the TAIL position.
    3. Check if "DAY MODE" on the display adjustment is ON.

      OK: "DAY MODE" is ON.

    1. OK: TURN FORCED "DAY MODE" SETTING OFF 
    2. NG: Go to Next Step. 
  2. DISPLAY CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SIGNAL CHECK MODE) 
    1. Enter the "Display Check" mode (Vehicle Signal Check Mode) (see DISPLAY CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SIGNAL CHECK) ).
    2. Turn the light control switch to the TAIL, HEAD or OFF position.

      Standard: 

      LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH SPECIFICATION

      Light Control Switch Display
      TAIL or HEAD ON
      OFF OFF

    HINT:

    The display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual change in the switch.

    1. OK: REPLACE RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY (SEE  REPLACEMENT  ) 
    2. NG: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (SEE  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
