Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the radio and navigation assy connector R5.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in Fig 2 .

      Standard:

    1. OK: REPLACE RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY (SEE  REPLACEMENT  ) 
    2. NG: Go to Next Step. 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY) 
    1. Disconnect the connectors from the radio and navigation assy R5 and park/neutral position switch assy A3.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in SPECIFIED CONDITION  .

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      REV - A3-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      REV - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: REPLACE RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY (SEE  REPLACEMENT  )
