Inspection Procedure

- CHECK GPS MARK
- Check that the GPS mark is displayed.
OK: The GPS mark is displayed.
- NG: GO TO "GPS MARK IS NOT DISPLAYED" IN FLOW TABLE (SEE GPS MARK IS NOT DISPLAYED )
- OK: Go to Next Step.
- Check that the GPS mark is displayed.
- NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS)
- Enter the "Navigation Check" mode (Vehicle Sensors) (see NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS) ).
- While driving, compare the "SPEED" indicator to the reading on the speedometer. Check that these readings are almost the same.
OK: The readings are almost the same.
- NG: GO TO "SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT" IN FLOW TABLE (SEE SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT )
- OK: Go to Next Step.
- NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS)
- Move the shift lever to the R or P position.
Standard:
SHIFT LEVER SPECIFICATIONShift lever Display P OFF R ON
HINT:
The display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual change in the switch.
- NG: GO TO "REVERSE SIGNAL CIRCUIT" IN FLOW TABLE (SEE REVERSE SIGNAL CIRCUIT )
- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (SEE PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- Move the shift lever to the R or P position.
