Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart

DTC CHECK
If a malfunction code is displayed during the DTC check, check the suspected area listed for that code in Fig 1 .

WARNING LIGHT INDICATOR
HINT:

The warning light indicator of headlight beam level control system comes on as following patterns.
1. Blink continuously at an interval of 1 sec.:
  When a new ECU is installed (There is no initial data, so it is necessary to initialize).
2. Blink twice at an interval of 1 sec.:
  When initializing is done correctly.
3. Comes on for 3 sec. (IG OFF -->ON):
  When it is normal.
4. Keep coming on more than 3 sec. after turning IG switch to ON position:
  When initializing ECU fails (Initializing will be required again).
5. Comes on when more than 10 sec. elapses after IG switch is turned to ON position from OFF:
  When system has malfunction. (Refer to "FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION" in PRE-CHECK )
