Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY 
    1. Remove the courtesy switch assy.
    2. Measure the switch resistance.

      Standard:

      NG: REPLACE FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY 

      OK: Go to next step. 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU & SWITCH ASSY - FRONT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH ASSY) 
    1. Disconnect M6 ECU connector.

    3. Reconnect the courtesy switch assy.
    4. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard:

      NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

      OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   )
