Possible Causes

DTC P0571 will set when stop light switch does not turn off even once the vehicle is driven (with cruise control function). DTC uses 2 trip detection logic. Possible causes are:
- Short in stop light switch signal circuit.
- Defective stop light switch.
- Defective ECM.
