Circuit Opening Relay

- Ensure ignition is off. Remove circuit opening relay. See CIRCUIT OPENING RELAY LOCATION table and Fig 1-Fig 10 .
- To test circuit opening relay, using ohmmeter, check for continuity or open between specified terminals on circuit opening relay. See Fig 11 and Fig 12 .
- To test circuit opening relay operation, apply battery voltage and ground to circuit opening relay. Using ohmmeter, check for continuity between specified terminals on circuit opening relay. See Fig 11 and Fig 12 . Replace circuit opening relay if defective.
