Variable Valve Timing System: Notes

NOTE:
Variable Valve Timing (VVT) system is used on Avalon, Camry (January 2003 and later production), Highlander, Sienna and 4Runner 4.0L V6. If problem exists in VVT system, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may be stored in Engine Control Module (ECM). See TESTING PROCEDURE under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article for retrieving of DTCs.
