Inspection Procedure

  1. Connect the OBD II scan tool or hand-held tester to the DLC3. DLC3 is located under the left side of the instrument panel. See Figure. Clear the DTC.
  2. Check whether the engine starts, after registering of the key that does not start the engine. If it is OK, there is no problem. If the results are not good, go to the next step.
  3. Replace the key that does not start the engine.
