Step 6 - Door Lock Signal, Inspect Door Lock Control Operation

  1. Disconnect the connector from the junction block No. 1.
  2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the voltmeter to terminal 9 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 8.

  3. Set the door lock control switch to UNLOCK, check that the voltage rises from 0 V to battery positive voltage for approximately 0.25 seconds.
  4. Remove the polarity to voltmeter leads.
  5. Set the door lock control switch to LOCK, check that the voltage rises from 0 V to battery positive voltage for approximately 0.25 seconds.
