Inspection Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Toyota RAV4. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Measure resistance between terminals CANL and CANH of DLC3.
CHECK:
Measure the resistance between terminals CANL and CANH of the DLC3.
RESULT:
RESISTANCE MEASURINGResult Proceed to 54 to 66 Ω A 1 MΩ or higher B - A : Go to step 3 .
- B : Go to next step.
- Check for short circuit in harness and connector between junction connector and DLC3.
PREPARATION:
Disconnect the bus line connectors from the junction connector.

- OK : Go to next step.
- Measure voltage of IG power source.
PREPARATION:
Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.
CHECK:
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Measure the voltage between terminals IG and GND of the yaw rate sensor connector.
OK:
Voltage: 10 to 14 V
- NG : Go to step 5 .
- OK : Replace yaw rate sensor.
NOTE: When replacing the yaw rate sensor, perform the zero point calibration (see PRE-CHECK ). - Measure resistance between terminal GND of yaw rate sensor connector and body ground.
PREPARATION:
