Inspection Procedure

Remote control receiving part washing.
1. OK : Dirt of a remote control receiving part.
2. NG : Go To Next Step.
Check dry cell battery (remote control).
1. NG : Replace dry cell battery.
2. OK : Go To Next Step.

Check wire harness.

PREPARATION:

Rear Seat Entertainment: Disconnect the connector rear display and RSE ECU.

Rear Seat Audio: Disconnect the connector RSA panel and radio and player.

CHECK:

Rear Seat Entertainment:

Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal TX+ of the rear display and terminal TXI+ of the RSE ECU.
Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal TX- of the rear display and terminal TXI- of the RSE ECU.

Rear Seat Audio:

Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal TX+ of the radio and player and terminal TXS+ of the RSA panel.
Check continuity of the wire harness between terminal TX- of the radio and player and terminal TXS- of the RSA panel.

OK:

Continuity

RESULT:

WIRE HARNESS CHECK RESULT

A	OK (RSA)
B	OK (RSE)
C	NG

B : Go to step 5 .
C : Repair or replace harness and connector.
A : Go To Next Step.

Check radio and player.
CHECK:

Check that the malfunction disappears when a good radio and player in quality is installed.

OK:
1. Malfunction disappear
1. OK : Replace radio and player.
2. NG : Repair or replace RSA panel.
Check radio and player.
CHECK:

Check the malfunction disappears when a good radio and player in quality is installed.

OK:
1. Malfunction disappear
1. OK : Replace radio and player.
2. NG : Go To Next Step.
Check RSE ECU.
CHECK:

Check the malfunction disappears when a good RSE ECU in quality is installed.

OK:
1. Malfunction disappear
1. OK : Replace RSE ECU.
2. NG : Repair or replace rear display.
