Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK THE MAP DISC 
    1. Check that the map disc is not deformed or cracked.

      Standard: No deformations or cracks appear on the map disc.

    1. NG: REPLACE THE MAP DISC 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK THE MAP DISPLAY 
    1. Check if a touch scroll can be performed on the map display.

      Standard: Touch scroll can be performed. 

    1. NG: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (see  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS CHECK) 
    1. Enter the "Navigation Check" mode (Vehicle Sensors) (see NAVIGATION CHECK MODE (VEHICLE SENSORS) ).
    2. While driving, compare the "SPD" indicator to the reading on the speedometer. Check if these readings are almost the same.

      Standard: The readings are almost the same.

    1. NG: GO TO "SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT" IN THE FLOW CHART (SEE  SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT  ) 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (see  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
