Inspection Procedure

- CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION (DRIVER SIDE)
- Check if the manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.
OK: Manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.
- NG: OTHER PROBLEM (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- OK: Go to Next Step.
- CHECK LAMP OF POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH (DRIVER SIDE SWITCH)
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Operate the master switch driver side switch.
- Check the blinking pattern of the AUTO lamp as shown in Fig 2 .
Result:
BLINKING PATTERN RESULTBlinking Pattern Proceed to 1 A 2 or 3 B 4 C - B: Go to step 4
- C: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY
- A: Go to Next Step.
- RESET POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (DRIVER SIDE) (See
INITIALIZATION )
- Check if the power window operates normally after resetting.
OK: Power window operates normally.
- NG: Go to step 4
- OK: END
- Check if the power window operates normally after resetting.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH)
- Disconnect the D8 master switch connector.
- Disconnect the P7 motor connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard:

- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH (DRIVER SIDE)
