Inspection Procedure
- CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION (DRIVER SIDE)
- Check if the manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.
OK: Manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.
NG: OTHER PROBLEM (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
OK: Go to next step.
- Check if the manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.
- CHECK LAMP OF POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH
- Turn the power switch ON (IG).
- Operate the master switch assembly's driver side switch for 2 seconds or more shown in the illustration on the left.
- Check the blinking pattern of the AUTO lamp. Compare the blinking pattern with the illustration below.
Result:
BLINKING PATTERNBlinking Pattern Proceed to 1 A 2 or 3 B 4 C
B: Go to step 4
C: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY
A: Go to next step.
- RESET POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY FRONT LH ( See INITIALIZATION .
)
- Check if the power window operates normally after the reset.
OK: Power window operates normally.
NG: Go to step 4
OK: END
- Check if the power window operates normally after the reset.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY FRONT LH AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the P17 master switch connector.
- Disconnect the P18 power window motor connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard:
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Specified Condition P17-3 (VCC) - P18-4 (SSRB) Below 1 Ω P17-14 (PLS) - P18-5 (PLS) Below 1 Ω P17-17 (PLS2) - P18-3 (PLS2) Below 1 Ω P17-2 (SGND) - P18-6 (E) Below 1 Ω P17-3 (VCC) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher P17-14 (PLS) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher P17-17 (PLS2) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY FRONT LH (DRIVER SIDE)
