Inspection Procedure

Check PWR, ECU-B and ECU-IG fuse.
CHECK:

Check continuity of PWR, ECU-B and ECU-IG fuse.

OK

Continuity
1. NG: Replace the failure fuse.
2. OK: Go to next step.
Check voltage between terminals POWER, SIG, BDR, DECU and GND of back door ECU connector.
PREPARATION

Turn ignition switch ON.

CHECK

Measure voltage between terminals SIG, and GND.

OK:

Voltage:10-14V

PREPARATION:
1. Turn ignition switch OFF
2. Disconnected the back door ECU connector
CHECK:

Measure voltage between terminals BDR, BECU and GND.

OK:

Voltage:10-14V
1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection show on problem symptoms table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
2. NG: Go to next step.
Check wire harness and connector between back door ECU and battery, back door ECU and body ground (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
2. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
