YAWRATE Sensor: Replacement

NOTE:
  • Don't use the dropped or damaged yawrate sensor.
  • Free from the foreign matters between yawrate sensor bracket and body.
  • Make sure the sensor direction.
  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 
  3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 
    1. Remove the nut and cowl side trim board plate RH.
  4. REMOVE YAWRATE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the yawrate sensor connector.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts and yawrate sensor.

  5. INSTALL YAWRATE SENSOR 
    1. Connect the yawrate sensor connector.
    2. Install the yawrate sensor with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 13 N.m (136 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)

  6. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 
    1. Install the nut with the cowl side trim board plate RH.
  7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 
  8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
  9. PERFORM YAWRATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION (See  PRE-CHECK  ) 
  10. CHECK VSC SENSOR SIGNAL (See  PRE-CHECK  )
