Rear Brake Speed Sensor: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR 
  2. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR 
    1. Remove the 2 clamp bolts, clamp nut and 5 resin clips holding the sensor wire harness from the axle and the fuel tank.

      Torque: 13 N.m (130 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

      HINT:

      • When installing the rear sensor wire harness, never use the removed resin clips, which are service parts.
      • When replacing clips, set up new resin clips at the same angle of the removed resin clips.
    2. Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the axle carrier.

      Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
