Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK MEMORY MIRROR ECU (POWER SOURCE) 
    1. LH:
      1. Disconnect the I1 connector.
      2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

        Standard: 

        SPECIFIED CONDITION

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        I1-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      3. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

        Standard: 

        SPECIFIED CONDITION

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        I1-3 (SIG) - Body ground Ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 V -->10 to 14 V
        I1-4 (CPUB) - Body ground Constant 10 to 14 V
        I1-6 (BDR) - Body ground Constant 10 to 14 V
    2. RH: 
      1. Disconnect the H1 connector.
      2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

        Standard: 

        SPECIFIED CONDITION

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        H1-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      3. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

        Standard: 

        SPECIFIED CONDITION

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        H1-3 (SIG) - Body ground Ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 V -->10 to 14 V
        H1-4 (CPUB) - Body ground Constant 10 to 14 V
        H1-6 (BDR) - Body ground Constant 10 to 14 V
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   )
