    RESISTANCE CONDITION (1 OF 4)

Tester connection Condition Specified value Result
    D1-6(CANH)-D1-14 (CANL) IG switch OFF 108 to 132 Ω A
D1-6(CANH)-D1-14 (CANL) IG switch OFF 132 Ω or higher B
NOTE: When the measured value is 132 Ω or more and the CAN communication system diagnostic code is output, there may be a fault besides disconnection of the DLC3 sub bus line. For that reason, troubleshooting should be performed again from "How to proceed with troubleshooting" after repairing the trouble area.
    1. B: REPAIR OR REPLACE DLC3 SUB BUS LINE OR CONNECTOR (CAN-H, CAN-L)

    A: Go To Next Step

  2. CHECK CAN MAIN BUS LINE FOR DISCONNECTION (SKID CONTROL ECU JUNCTION CONNECTOR)
    1. Disconnect the connector (J13) from the junction connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    RESISTANCE CONDITION (2 OF 4)

    Tester connection Condition Specified value
    J13-4(CANH)-J13-15(CANL) IG switch OFF 108 to 132 Ω
    1. NG: Go to step   4

    OK: Go To Next Step

  3. CHECK STEERING SENSOR

    1. Disconnect the connector (S12) from the steering sensor.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
    RESISTANCE CONDITION (3 OF 4)

    Tester connection Condition Specified value
    10 (CANH) -9 (CANL) IG switch OFF 108 to 132 Ω
    1. NG: REPLACE STEERING SENSOR (SEE  STEERING SENSOR  )

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN MAIN BUS LINE OR CONNECTOR (STEERING SENSOR - JUNCTION CONNECTOR)

  4. CHECK SKID CONTROL ECU

    1. Disconnect the connector (S1) from the skid control ECU.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
    RESISTANCE CONDITION (4 OF 4)

    Tester connection Condition Specified value
    11 (CANH)-25 (CANL) IG switch OFF 108 to 132 Ω
    1. NG: REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU WITH ACTUATOR (SEE  REPLACEMENT  )

    OK:

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN MAIN BUS LINE OR CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - JUNCTION CONNECTOR)
