Required Sensors/Components (Main) Thermostat, cooling system
Required Sensors/Components (Related) Engine coolant temperature sensor and mass air flow meter
Frequency of Operation Continuous
Duration 2 minutes: Engine coolant temperature at engine start 1.7°C (35°F) or more
5 minutes: Engine coolant temperature at engine start -9.4° to 1.7°C (15° to 35°
20 minutes: Engine coolant temperature at engine start less than -9.4°C (15°F)
MIL Operation 2 driving cycles
