Inspection Procedure

  1. READ VALUE ON HAND-HELD TESTER 
    1. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the hand-held tester on.
    4. Select the item below in the FREEZE FRAME DATA, and read its value displayed on the hand-held tester.
    FREEZE FRAME DATA

    Item Measurement Item/Range (Display) Normal Condition
    P SPLY OFF SIG power supply off preparation request signal/ON or OFF ON: Power is turned off by power source control ECU after receiving power switch off signal OFF: Any other condition

    OK: ON is displayed. 

    1. NG: REPLACE POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

    REPLACE TRANSMISSION CONTROL ECU ASSY
