VVT Sensor: Replacement

  1. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY COVER 
  2. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. REMOVE VVT SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.
    2. Remove the bolt and VVT sensor.
  4. INSTALL VVT SENSOR 
    1. Attach a new VVT sensor to the cylinder head.
    2. Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.

      Torque: 6.5 N.m (65 kgf.cm, 58 in..lbf) 

  5. REINSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  6. REINSTALL THROTTLE BODY COVER
