Accelerator Pedal Rod Assy: Replacement

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD ASSY
1. Disconnect the accelerator position sensor connector.
2. Remove the 2 bolts, then remove the accelerator pedal.

INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD ASSY
NOTE:
- Avoid any physical impact to the accelerator pedal assembly.
- Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal assembly.
1. Install the accelerator pedal with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 5 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in..lbf)
2. Connect the accelerator position sensor connector.

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (See PRECAUTION )
Torque: 3.9 N.m (40 kgf.cm, 35 in..lbf)
