Input Shaft: Reassembly

INSTALL INPUT SHAFT OIL SEAL RING
1. Coat a new input shaft oil seal ring with ATF, install it to the input shaft.

INSTALL FORWARD CLUTCH PISTON O-RING
1. Coat a new forward clutch piston O-ring with ATF, install it to the forward clutch piston.

INSTALL FORWARD CLUTCH PISTON
1. Install the forward clutch piston to the input shaft.
  NOTE: Be careful not to damage the O-ring.

INSTALL FORWARD CLUTCH RETURN SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the clutch balancer and forward clutch return spring sub-assembly to the input shaft.

2. Using SST, a press and a snap ring expander, install the snap ring to the forward clutch return spring.

INSTALL FRONT CLUTCH DISC
1. Install the 4 front clutch plates, 4 front clutch discs and front clutch flange.
2. Using a screwdriver, install the snap ring.
INSPECT PACK CLEARANCE OF FORWARD CLUTCH (See INSPECTION )
