Inspection Procedure
- READ VALUE ON INTELLIGENT TESTER
- Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and turn the intelligent tester main switch on.
- Select the item below in the "DATA LIST", and read the display on the intelligent tester.
CCS (ECM):

OFF: "CCS READY" OFF- OK: When the cruise control main switch is operated, the normal conditions listed above are shown on the display.
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
NG: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
- Check if other functions in the combination meter (speedometer, indicator, etc.) operate normally.
OK: Functions operate normally.
NG: GO TO COMBINATION METER SYSTEM
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- Check if other functions in the combination meter (speedometer, indicator, etc.) operate normally.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - ECM)
- Disconnect the combination meter and ECM connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - ECM
