Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When using the intelligent tester to troubleshoot the LIN communication line: Connect the intelligent tester to the vehicle, and turn the courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.

CHECK DTC OUTPUT

Turn the ignition switch ON and initialize the power window regulator motor (on the driver side) (see INITIALIZATION ).
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Wait for at least 10 seconds, and then turn the ignition switch ON.

Check whether the DTC output recurs.
