Power Window Master Switch: Inspection

INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Measure the resistance of the power switch.

Standard resistance:

for Front passenger switch

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.

Apply battery voltage to the master switch and check that the AUTO light illuminates.

OK: Go TO NEXT STEP.

MEASUREMENT SPECIFIED CONDITION

Battery positive (+) --> Terminal 3 (LED) Battery negative (-) --> Terminal 1 (E)	AUTO light illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.
