SFI System: Precaution

NOTE:

Perform RESET MEMORY (AT initialization) when replacing the automatic transmission assembly, engine assembly or ECM.
For U140F, refer to INITIALIZATION .

For U241E, refer to INITIALIZATION .
Perform REGISTRATION (VIN registration) when replacing the ECM (see REGISTRATION ).

HINT:

Initialization cannot be completed by only removing the battery.
