Power Window cannot be Operated by Wireless Operation: Description
When the switch on the transmitter is operated during normal operating conditions (See OPERATION CHECK ), the multiplex network body ECU sends a request signal to the master switch and the regulator switches which then drive the applicable power window motors.
- CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTIONS
- Check that the wireless door lock functions operate with movement of the transmitter switch.
HINT:
When the wireless door LOCK/UNLOCK operation can be performed, it means that the wireless signal from the transmitter is properly input to the multiplex network body ECU.
NG: CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTIONS
OK: Go to next step.
- Check that the wireless door lock functions operate with movement of the transmitter switch.
- CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION
- Check that the manual UP/DOWN function using the master switch and each regulator switch can operate all the power windows.
NG: OTHER PROBLEM
OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK REMOTE UP/DOWN FUNCTION
- Check that the remote UP/DOWN function using the master switch can operate the power windows.
NG: OTHER PROBLEM
OK: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU
