Operation History Data

  1. OPERATION HISTORY DATA 

    HINT:

    The hybrid vehicle control ECU records inappropriate operations performed by the driver and the number of abnormal conditions that have been input to the ECU as operation history data.

    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the intelligent tester on.
    3. Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / HV ECU / DATA LIST.
    4. Select the menu to view the number of special operations or controls that have been effected.

      HINT:

      • LATEST OPER: Among the past occurrences, the number of special operations or controls that have been effected during the most recent 1 trip detection.
      • LATEST TRIP: The number of trips after the occurrence of LATEST OPER.
      • BEF LATST OPER: The number of occurrences during the trip previous to the LATEST OPER.
      • BEF LATST TRIP: The number of trips after the occurrence of BEF LATST OPER.

      SHIFT BEF READY (Shift gear before READY) Shift lever moved with READY light blinking
      N RANGE CTRL 1 (N range control in half shift) Shift position cannot be determined
      N RANGE CTRL 2 (N range control by busy shift) N position control effected due to frequent shifting operation
      STEP ACCEL IN N (Step accelerator in N range) Accelerator pedal depressed in N position
      AUX. BATT LOW (Auxiliary Battery Low) Auxiliary battery voltage below 9.5 V
      HV INTERMITTENT (HV ECU Intermittent problems) Instantaneous open circuit at IGSW terminal of hybrid vehicle control ECU
      MG2 TEMP HI (MG2 (motor) temperature high) Motor temperature rose above 168°C (334°F)
      MG1 TEMP HI (MG1 (generator) temperature high) Generator temperature rose above 168°C (334°F)
      MG2 INV TEMP HI (MG2 (motor) Inverter temperature high) Motor inverter temperature rose above 120°C (248°F)
      MG1 INV TEMP HI (MG1 (generator) Inverter temperature high) Generator inverter temperature rose above 120°C (248°F)
      MAIN BATT LOW (Main Battery low voltage) Battery state of charge dropped below 30%
      RESIST OVR HEAT (Resister over heat) System main resistor overheated
      COOLANT HEAT (Coolant heating) Inverter coolant forecast temperature rose above 65°C (149°F)
      CONVERTER HEAT (Converter heating) Boost converter temperature rose above 120°C (248°F)
      BKWRD DIR SHIFT (Shift backward direction) Shifted to R while moving forward or shifted to D or B while moving in reverse
      PREVENT STAYING (Prevention control of staying) Engine speed stays in resonance frequency band
      ACCEL AND BRK (Accelerator and brake depressing) Both accelerator and brake pedals depressed
