Air Conditioning Control Assembly: Removal

  1. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  2. REMOVE COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
  3. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a screwdriver, open the claw of the cable clamp and disconnect the defroster damper control cable.
      NOTE:
      • Be careful not to bend the cable wire.
      • If the cable wire bends, the air conditioning control assembly operationality becomes worse.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Release the 2 fitting claws and pull out the air conditioning control assembly, as shown in the illustration.

    3. Using a screwdriver, open the claw of the cable clamp and disconnect the airmix damper control cable.
      NOTE:
      • Be careful not to bend the cable wire.
      • If the cable wire bends, the air conditioning control assembly operationality becomes worse.

      HINT:

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    4. Disconnect the connector and remove the air conditioning control assembly.
