Terminals Of Ecu

  1. INSPECT TVIP ECU 
    1. Disconnect the T3 ECU connector.

    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the connector.

      Standard 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Condition Specified Condition
      E (T3-29) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      +B1 (T3-2) - Body ground R-B - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      CTY (T3-19) - Body ground R - Body ground
      • Front passenger's door fully closed → Opened
      • Rear right door fully closed → Opened
      • Rear left door fully closed → Opened
      • Grass hatch fully closed → Opened
      • Back door fully closed → Opened
      10 kΩ or higher → Below 1 Ω
      DSWD (T3-40) - Body ground R-W - Body ground Driver's door fully closed → Opened 10 kΩ or higher → Below 1 Ω
      KSW (T3-12) - Body ground L-B - Body ground No key in ignition key cylinder → Key inserted 0 V → 10 to 14 V
      L2 (T3-16) - Body ground G - Body ground Driver's door lock UNLOCK → LOCK 0 V → 10 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      UL3 (T3-17) - Body ground L-Y - Body ground Driver's door lock LOCK → UNLOCK 0 V → 10 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      UL2 (T3-18) - Body ground L-B - Body ground Front passenger's door lock LOCK → UNLOCK 0 V → 10 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      IRSG (T3-28) - Body ground W - Body ground Driver's door lock LOCK → UNLOCK Pulse generation
      IG (T3-10) - Body ground B-W - Body ground Ignition switch OFF → ON 0 V → 10 to 14 V
      SRLY (T3-21) - Body ground B-R - Body ground Ignition switch OFF → ON 0 V → 10 to 14 V
      LSWD (T3-37) - Body ground W - Body ground Driver's door UNLOCK → LOCK 0 V → 10 to 14 V
      LSWP (T3-38) - Body ground W-R - Body ground Front passenger's door UNLOCK → LOCK 0 V → 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the T3 ECU connector. Measure the resistance of the terminals.
    4. Measure the resistance and voltage of connectors.

      Standard voltage 

      VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Condition Specified Condition
      DMPL (T3-9) - E (T3-29) R-W - W-B Armed state → Alarm sounding state Pulse generation
      HEAD (T3-6) - E (T3-29) R-W-B Light control switch position HEAD → OFF or TAIL Below 1 V → 10 to 14 V
      HZAD (T3-8) - E (T3-29) Y-B - W-B Armed state → Alarm sounding state Pulse generation
      IND (T3-25) - E (T3-29) R-W - W-B Security indicator lights up. (30 sec. duration) 10 to 14 V
      IOUT (T3-11) - E (T3-29) L - W-B Armed state → Alarm sounding state (on glass breakage detection) Pulse generation
      HORN (T3-5) - E (T3-29) G-Y - W-B Armed state → Alarm sounding state Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the TVIP ECU may have a malfunction.

  2. INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY 
    1. Disconnect the I12 relay connector.

    2. Measure the resistance of the connector.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Condition Specified Condition
      PCTY (I12-13) - Body ground R-W - Body ground Front passenger's door fully closed → Opened 10 kΩ or higher → Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  3. INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B (INTEGRATION RELAY) 
    1. Disconnect the ID J/B connector of the instrument panel J/B.

    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Condition Specified Condition
      DCTY (ID-1) - Body ground R-W - Body ground Driver's door fully closed → Opened 10 kΩ or higher → Below 1 Ω
      P-DR (ID-14) - Body ground R-B - Body ground Rear LH door fully closed → Opened 10 kΩ or higher → Below 1 Ω
      P-DR (ID-15) - Body ground R-Y - Body ground Rear RH door fully closed → Opened 10 kΩ or higher → Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
