Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    NG: REPLACE HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    OK : Go to Next Step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TVIP ECU - LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH) 
    1. Disconnect the TVIP ECU and light control switch connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      HEAD (T3-6) - RF (C12-12) Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK : Go to Next Step 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the light control switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      T (C12-10) - Body ground Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK : REPLACE TVIP ECU
