DTC Check / Clear

CHECK DTC
1. Using the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM), check for DTCs.
  1. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
  2. Turn the power switch ON (IG).
  3. Read the DTCs by following the prompts on the tester screen.
    HINT:
    
    Refer to the intelligent tester operator's manual for further details.

CLEAR DTC
1. Using the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM), clear the DTCs.
  1. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
  2. Turn the power switch ON (IG).
  3. Erase the DTCs by following the directions on the tester screen.
