How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

• Use these procedures to troubleshoot the wireless door lock control system.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 

   NEXT 

2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 

   Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V 

   If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding

   NEXT 

3. INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LARGE-SCALE MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (BEAN)* 
   1. Using the intelligent tester, check if the Multiplex Communication System (MPX) is functioning normally (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART ).

   B : Go to MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

4. CHECK FOR DTC* 
   1. Check for DTCs (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR  ) and note any codes that are output.
   2. Delete the DTC.
   3. Recheck for DTCs. Try to prompt the DTC by simulating the original activity that the DTC suggests.
