Entry Functions do not Operate at All: Procedure

  1. CHECK KEY CANCEL FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the key cancel function has been set. Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS .

      OK

      Key cancel function is set.

    NG → See step   2 

    OK → END (UNSET KEY CANCEL FUNCTION) 

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (CERTIFICATION ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

    1. Disconnect the E84 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E84-17 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Standard voltage

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      E84-18 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch off Below 1 V
      E84-1 (+B1) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   3 

  3. REPLACE ECU AGGREGATION BOX (CERTIFICATION ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL
