Entry Interior Alarm does not Sound: Procedure

  1. CHECK WHETHER ENGINE STARTS 
    1. Check that the engine starts.

      HINT: 

      The engine starts when the correct warning buzzer signal is transmitted from the steering lock ECU to the combination meter.

      OK

      Engine starts.

      RESULT

      NG (2AR-FE) B
      NG (2GR-FE) C

    A: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY (OPERATION) 
    1. Place the door control transmitter in an undetectable area outside the vehicle, and turn the engine switch on (IG) with all doors closed.

      OK

      Warning buzzer sounds once.

    NG → See step   5 

    OK → See step   3 

  3. REPLACE ECU AGGREGATION BOX (CERTIFICATION ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL 
  4. Go to  SMART KEY SYSTEM  Refer to  Engine does not Start 
  5. Go to  METER / GAUGE SYSTEM  Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 
  6. Go to  SMART KEY SYSTEM  Refer to  Engine does not Start
