Wireless Door Lock Buzzer Does not Sound: Procedure

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER)
- Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the wireless door lock buzzer sounds.SMART KEY

OK → END (WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER IS DEFECTIVE)
- Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the wireless door lock buzzer sounds.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (CERTIFICATION ECU - WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER AND BODY GROUND)

- Disconnect the E84 ECU connector.
- Disconnect the A10 buzzer connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Specified Condition BZR (E84-21) - A10-1 Below 1 Ω A10-2 - Body ground BZR (E84-21) or A10-1 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER
- Temporarily replace the wireless door lock buzzer with a new one.
- Check that the wireless door buzzer sounds by using the transmitter lock/unlock switch.
OK

NG → See step 4
OK → END (WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER IS DEFECTIVE)
- REPLACE ECU AGGREGATION BOX (CERTIFICATION ECU). Refer to REMOVAL
