Wireless Door Lock Buzzer Does not Sound: Procedure

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER)

Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the wireless door lock buzzer sounds.

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (CERTIFICATION ECU - WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER AND BODY GROUND)

Disconnect the E84 ECU connector.
Disconnect the A10 buzzer connector.

Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard resistance

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
BZR (E84-21) - A10-1	Below 1 Ω
A10-2 - Body ground	Below 1 Ω
BZR (E84-21) or A10-1 - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK: Go to next step

CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER
1. Temporarily replace the wireless door lock buzzer with a new one.
2. Check that the wireless door buzzer sounds by using the transmitter lock/unlock switch.
  OK
  
  Wireless door lock buzzer sounds.
NG → See step 4

OK → END (WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER IS DEFECTIVE)
REPLACE ECU AGGREGATION BOX (CERTIFICATION ECU). Refer to REMOVAL
